Where is it used?

Tidal energy is used in coastal areas , and in places where the tide changes. Good places for
tidal power plants would be in the Pacific Northwest and the Atlantic Northeast regions of the country , because inthis places the tides change and varies from day to day. There is currently only one operating tidal power plant in North America , it is in Annapolis Royal , Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is off the coast of Maine. Another place where tidal energy is being used is in Canada. To be more specific in the Bay of Fundy. Canada has some of the highest tides in the world. Between 13 and 14 trillion Kg of water move in or out of the bay between high and low tides.
