Marine Current Turbines(MCT) is the world leader in its field. MCT make tidal turbines. They mainly make them for Ireland and countries close around but not really the Untited States. MCT simply makes their turbines by making a wind mill in a sence then just changes little parts so it is able to work when fully sumerged under water.

The SeaGen.

This is a picture of what the SeaGen, the world’s largest tidal turbine looks like. It was installed off the coast of Northern Ireland in August 2007. With its twin turbine rotors, the SeaGen will produce electricity for approximately 1,000 homes and buisseness in Ireland. It's the world's largest and most powerful tidal turbine. The Marine Current Turbines(MCT) designed this turbine serving as a prototype for future commercial turbines made by this company and many others.
