Tidal energy is unheard of to many people. When people hear the word "renewable sources" they think of energy like solar, wind, and maybe hydro-electric. One reason many people have not heard of tidal energy is probably beacuse their are only 7 plants in the whole world. There is only one in North America right now located by the Bay of Fundy. Another is because people call this the power source of the "future". This is because tides will always be around they happen every day and they will not stop. So until the day the moon leaves Earth or Earth just ends we will always have this energy source to use.
